Movie after movie followed and soon, Walt Disney became a worldwide icon. His movies became so popular with such influential characters and story-lines that he opened his own Theme Park, Disneyland, in Anaheim, California. The success soon spread and Disney World opened in Orlando, Florida and spread to Paris, Japan, and throughout the world. Today, Walt Disney is considered a legend for his mark in film and the magic continues today with Disney being one of the most successful corporations in the world with more and more movies still to come.
