I first watched porn when i went my friends house and she showed it to me. I knew it was bad but I wasn't sure why. I started watching it more frequently because from all i knew the women staring in it were just having fun and enjoying themselves. It felt dirty and shameful when i watched it but I had no reason to feel that way because I knew two of my friends watched it and probably loads more. I became really worried about it and started looking it up on wiki answers to see if it was normal. There were loads of answers like "it's sinful. don't do it." and "porn is the abuse of women" but I'm not religious and from all I had seen the women chose the life style of a porn star and enjoyed it. Then I came across an answer which had a link to a video on YouTube. The video was about an ex-porn star called Shelley. She had been through hell. It really touched me and brought me to stop. I realized that every time I watched porn I was contributing to a young girl's misery who would most likely die young from STD or an overdose or suicide. Look up on YouTube: "Shelley an ex porn star tells the hard-core truth about porn" and it should come up. Are you religious? If so then you will truly understand what she is saying but I still saw her point even if she was taking about a God I did not worship.
