Why did Robert Pattinson do twilight?

I believe that he doesn't hate his fans. He is just overwhelmed by the popularity and all the gossip that comes along with being a star. His popularity shot out of nowhere overnight and it can be hard for people to adjust to that. If you were a normal everyday guy who just wanted to make it as an actor and out of nowhere srung this blast of Hollywood, you might feel differently about how people treat you. Fans might be especially disliked if that said actor was used to keeping to himself, and then all of a sudden people recognize you wherever you go without giving you an ounce of privacy. All they do is scream in your face without saying hi first naturally and calmly. Think of how shocking that might be to him. If I was famous I would probably react the same way. He is constantly being swarmed by fans, crazed teenage girls who think they are the Mrs. Pattinson he has been waiting for... so it gets rather frustrating for him, not that he's trying to be rude, but he's just overwhelmed.

Robert Pattinson doesn't hate children.When he meant he doesn't like children on that interview on YouTube, he is saying that doesn't want to date children, he wants to date women (Kristen Stewart) !!Thats what he meant. For everyone who believed he literally doesn't like children are idiots, all of ya"ll can't believe everything a person says!

At first he didn't hate the character, but yes, in an interview he said he did because while reading it, he's too perfect with hardly any personality. Just look it up.

And why else would he take the role other than success? He doesn't have to like the character to play him. Just do it, make money and move on. Unfortunately, he couldn't have seen things like being hit by a taxi would result from this.

Why don't you go and find the interview where he says it. Seriously though, can you blame someone for not liking this character, either you love him or you hate him, I don't think there is a middle ground. Robert Pattinson is perfectly entitled (as is anyone else in the world) to dislike the character Edward Cullen, or any other character he may read about or portray.

Robert left Twilight because he was unprepared for the fame that the movie brought, for he was getting a lot of attention everywhere and couldn't go anywhere without getting noticed. He didn't stay away for long, he has returned and will portray Edward Cullen in the next two films. He said that he just couldn't stay away. I believe that he is perfect for the part. If the decide to make Breaking Dawn, he will star in it, but they haven't decided because it is such a long novel and would have to be divided into two or three different movies.

Edward Cullen and Jacob Black are natural enemies because Edward is a vampire and Jacob is a werewolf. In other words Edward Cullen does hate Jacob Black in Twilight.
