Animations take longer because you have to create each frame. animations you see in films now tend to have 5-8 frames each second. filming with actors doesn't need that. it takes them about a year to do just over 1 hour in animation. i don't know about you but i animate and it's pain staking work.

Creating a 30-second animation depends heavily on the complexity and style. A simple 2D animation could take anywhere from 20-40 hours, while more intricate 3D animations, with tasks like modeling, rigging, and rendering, might require 100+ hours. Frame-by-frame animation takes even longer since every single frame is drawn individually. It’s worth noting that revisions and adjustments are a standard part of the process, so timelines can stretch further. According to experts like Cloud Animations, the key lies in balancing creativity, detail, and time management.

The other main disadvantage is the risk of transmitting diseases from animals to humans. Please see related link on xenotransplantation for further details.
