He was also the primary writer on some of his previous songs, including Where Are You Now. He also wrote majority of his songs on his album Under The Mistletoe and co wrote with many different people on his new album Believe. For example, he wrote Be Alright, himself and co wrote Boyfriend with Mike Posner.

His answer was girls he is inspired by girl's so he started writing songs and went to a contest and posted videos on you-tube for family and friend's who could not make it up to the contest. His main person who inspires him the most in his crush/best Friend Unika Smith.
