Katniss usses her survial skills (hiding in trees) Later Katniss teams up with Rue (which later dies) When Katniss and Peeta are the last to the annoucer says ONLY one can win. Katniss is very mad she pulls out the posinous berries and on the count of three katniss and peeta will both eat them. Right at the last second the annoucer says that they both win.
