Michael Jackson was actually catapulted to his highest and worldwide, back in the first half of the 80's until the end of time

Michael Jackson simply had a *mass/*magical appeal - he didn't just sing - he also danced and put on spectacular shows - being in charge, right down to stage-set design/lighting and costume designs - he was an *ultimate, exiting and electrifying entertainer who always stirred pure hysteria amongst the crowds - male and female... It is just the *way* Michael Jackson did it while on stage ...he just mesmorised people of *all* ages.

This has to be the biggest reason as to why he appealed to ALL ages, religions, skin-tones, cultures, and backgrounds ... that, as far as I can see, is how he, "was able to popularize himself globally." ...and this is also taking into account, the remotest parts of the world where even the old technology of TV, radio, is still not available/used ...yet somehow, someway, they ALL know of the name, Michael Jackson.

No-One has been or will ever be as famous as Michael Jackson. There aren't enough words to explain what Jackson hysteria is.

Some Opinions Elvis was great but Micheal is the Greatest. He created more history in music than anyone else. Elvis was more popular among the whites. But Michael Jackson, The King Of Pop, was popular for both whites AND blacks. And that's a lot, believe me! Both were great but Michael's personalitly made him even more lovable! Michael was so nice and caring and loving! I HAVE to agree. Most people are good singers. Nothing new there. Michael Jackson was great, awesome, totally brill, but that's not what I wanted to say. His songs tell us what he wants to say, but that no one would probably listen to if he said it in words. Both were immensely popular in their times. Elvis benefitted from the burgeoning movie audiences, and Michael gained a global market from the expansion of communication. Michael Jackson obviously had more fans, and a much more successful career. Unfortunately, like his ex-wife's late father, his life may have been cut short by the demands of his fame.

Elvis has more top 10 singles, Elvis has 36 and Michael has 29. And with the most top 40 singles, Elvis has 114, and Michael Jackson isn’t even in the top ten! 😮😱 Also, Elvis Presley’s career mostly took place in the later 1950s, he got really famous in 1956, and the 1970s, he died in 1977. He was acting in movies almost all of the 1960s, so pretty much the only albums he was making was the songs in the movies that he was forced to sing. He didn’t do any concerts or anything in most of the 60s, only movies so I don’t count the 1960s as part of his music career, just husband acting career. Elvis sang for two/three decades. Michael Jackson, on the other hand, was in The Jackson 5 in the 1970s, then he was by himself through the 1980s, and almost 2010, he died in 2009, so Michael had a longer, more recent career than Elvis, but he still wasn’t as successful as Elvis was, and that says a lot about Elvis. Also, the US was much more populated in the 1980s-2000s than the 1950s-1970s, so it would’ve made sense if Michael Jackson was more successful than Elvis, but he still wasn’t! And it’s been over 40 years since Elvis died, and only like a little over 10 years since Michael Jackson died, and people are still arguing over who is better! To me, all of this proves that Elvis Presley is far better than Michael Jackson, or any artist could ever be!
