sorry but the 1st singer for journey was GREGG ROLIE, on their 1st 3 lp's, titled
1st= 'JOURNEY, 2ND 'LOOK INTO THE FUTURE', 3RD= 'NEXT',
NEIL SCHON the founder of journey,, after playing with SANTANA, NEIL took 'GREGG ROLIE' who played keyboards and did vocals for santana, left santana and formed journey.. = neil schon played rhythm guitar and HALF OF SANTANAS LEADS, listen to 'BLACK MAGIC WOMAN' it is alll gregg singing and playing keyboards. in fact if it were not for NEIL AND GREGG there would have been no santana.. after neils scorching etheral guitar work on these 3 lp's they only had a small cult following and needed some hits;;; THUS neil hired STEVE PERRY,,they sat down and wrote 'LIGHTS' the 1st song neil and steve wrote . INFINITY debuted , wheel in the sky' hit the charts and the rest was history....(dave lee)
