When Selena Gomez was 7, she saw that there was a role in Barney in Texas and she begged her mother and father, and she got the part. While they were filiming, Selena met this girl, Demitria Davonne Lavato (Demi Lovato) and they became best friends instantly. Since Demi and Selena only appeared on a few Barney episodes before they moved over to another state, they decidied that their acting career doesn't end there, with their effort, they got on Disney Channel, together. Selena got a role in an episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Demi was in a commerical series, As The Bell Rings but sadly she quitted because of Camp Rock. Selena and Demi hoped and hoped that they would get a movie or television show together, and it worked, they star together in the Disney Channel Orginal Movie, Princess Protection Program.
