He has six bodies, each has orange hair and punctures nearby and on his head. All have a ring of punctures around their neck. All has a certain special power. All have the Rinnegan and apparently just undead, revived by a certain force. One of the bodies belong to Yahiko. Another is a Fuma clanmember's. All original owners of the bodies have met Jiraiya, friend or foe.

The six paths of Pain(Pein) are a jutsu used by the Pain Master Nagato. He took the bodies of six different people and divided his powers into them.

The first is the Tendō Pain or Diva Path. The body is that of a good friend of Nagato, Yahiko. He uses the jutsu Shinra Tensei or Almighty Push. Nagato is represented by this path in all Akatsuki meetings.

The Second is the Chikushōdō Pain or Animal Path. He is the only path that has been replaced. This happened after the Late Jiraiya sent it back to Konohagakure.

The Third is the Gakidō Pain or the Preta Path. He was able to absorb any type of jutsu or chakra. He was transformed into a frog after absorbing to much Sage Chakra.

The Fourth is the Ningendō (NOT Nintendo) Pain or Human Path. He was destroyed by Narutos Fūton: Rasen Shuriken.

The Fifth is the Shuradō Pain or Asura Path. It is destroyed by Narutos Rasengan.

The Sixth and final Pain Path is the Jigokudō Pain or Naraka Path. It was dispatched by Naruto's Rasenrendan.

The so-called seventh path is the Outer Path or Gedō Pain is not included with the main Six Paths of Pain. It has control over Life and Death. When used by the Naraka Path, it's used for interrogation and rejuvenation.
