∙ 11y agoThey rely mostly on their brute strength, not really smart strategies. For example, in The Hunger Games, the Careers' food stock is "protected" with mines. However, Foxface is able to steal some of their food by moving quickly and dodging the mines. Also, Katniss blows up their entire food supply by triggering the mines. The Careers rely on their reputation of being scary and strong, instead of being versatile.

∙ 11y agoThe Career tributes from the upper districts have been specially trained for the games.The Hunger Games before their 18th birthday they volunteer as tribute and attempt to bring glory to themselves and their families. The are trained in everything they need for the arena and so they almost always win.
