Hey Jude Had no meaning. It was written for Julian Lennon after his dad split with his mom (John Lennon and Cynthia Lennon) Originally it was named Hey Jools but it changed and we have Hey Jude.
John Lennon and Cynthia got divorcied and their son Julian is Paul McCartney's godson. So he went to Cynthia's house to comfort Julian. After that Paul took Julian to John's house and on the car ride there Paul started thinking of the song "Hey Jude" it was originaly Hey Jules but PAul said that Hey Jude sounds better. John thought this sond was written for him.
Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
Hey Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better
And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
Hey Jude, don't let me down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah yeah
Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her under your skin
Then you'll begin to make it
Better better better better better better, oh
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude
"Hey Jude" is suppose to be about John Lennon's son Julian. When John Lennon got divorced with his first wife Julian was feeling very sad and upset about it so Paul McCartney wrote a song for him to make him feel better.
" Hey Jude, don't be sad. Take a sad song, and make it better"
Hey Jude was written for Julian Lennon because his parents, John and Cynthia Lennon, were going through a divorce. It was written to comfort him through the divorce since he was only 5 at the time. The song started out as "Hey Jules" because Paul McCartney's nickname for Julian was "Jules". Then it was changed to "Hey Jude" because Paul thought it would be easier to say "Hey Jude" rather than "Hey Jules".
Paul wrote the song "Hey Jude" for John's son Julian. When he wrote it he imagined it being called "Hey Jules" but changed it to Jude. John was in the middle of divorcing his first wife Cynthia, who is Julian's Mom, and Paul wrote the song as a way of telling Julian that even though things seem tough that it will get better.
It was about a girl whose real name was Judy as in 'Punch and Judy'
