Episode VIII: The Last Jedi released in December 2017 however it is not THE last Star Wars film. There will be an Episode IX to complete this third trilogy in 2019 w/ Soloreleased before that in May 2018.
In November 2017, Disney announced there would be fourth trilogy so there are no plans for a literal 'last' Star Wars movie anytime soon.

But on August 15, 2008, a pilot film for the new CGI-animated show "The Clone Wars" (that airs on Cartoon Network in the USA) opened up in theaters. The pilot film was originally several single episodes combined together (a pilot film was not planned at first)
