What did rons mom do in the harry potter books and a movies?

The name of Hermione's mother is never revealed in any of the Harry Potter books or movies. She is only ever referred to as Mrs. Granger or Hermione's mum. The character was played by Michelle Fairley and Heather Bleasdale.

She acted largely as a mother figure to Harry as well as a warm mother to her children. We first see her in the Philosopher's Stone where she generously helps Harry get on to the platform to board the Hogwarts Express.

In the Chamber of Secrets, Ron and his twin brothers Fred and George rescue Harry from the Dursleys and, though angry at her sons, Molly Weasley warmly welcomes Harry in to the home and takes him to buy his books with the family.

In the Prisoner of Azkaban we barely see her although he does say hello in the Leaky Cauldron.

In the Goblet of Fire, he stays at her house again until the Quidditch World Cup, and then returns after. In the books she also comes to support him during the tournament.

In the Order of the Phoenix she looks after him like always from Grimmauld Place.

In the Half-Blood Prince, she welcomes him once again to her home.

And the same in the Deathly Hallows.

It is very much the same in each book and movie, she treats him like her own son including birthday celebrations etc. Note that the above only applies to movies
