Amanda died from the explosion at the Hump Bar
Improvement:
Stopping at "Betty's" Amanda was left in the car while her mom (Claudia Joy) went inside to give Betty a cheque to help pay for a much needed operation. Meanwhile a woman walks into the diner and meets up with a man - she gives him a kiss. A car parks close to where Amanda is and a man dressed in full combat gear gets out of the car and pauses before he walks into the bar. Everyone notices his presence at once and the woman seems shocked as he spots her with the man. He rips his kevlar vest off and reveals plastic explosives strapped onto his chest and lifts his hand into view holding a detonator. As everyone braces for the explosion, Amanda walks in. She has seen the man and thought it suspicious. She's standing next to the man as he presses the button and the screen then goes blank. We then find out that Amanda died in the 1st episode of the second season.

Warren Jeffs is often discussed on Sister Wives. The Brown family makes it very clear that they are not a part of the church that is run by Warren Jeffs, and their lifestyle is incredibly different from the lifestyle of his Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saint community. Jeffs and his community are specifically discussed on the episode "Polygamist Cults," the 15th episode of the third season, in which Aspyn, Logan, and Madison go to Utah to serve a charity that helps people escaping dangerous polygamist situations. The FLDS polygamist community is also brought up again in the ninth episode of the fourth season, called "Sister Wives on the Ropes." In that episode, the sister wives and Kody take part in a debate at the University of Nevada - Las Vegas about the nature of polygamy. Opposing the Browns in the debate are members of different polygamist groups, including one from the Warren Jeffs community.
In season 5 of Army Wives, the third episode ended with a cliffhanger. A soldier died, but the screen faded to black before it was revealed who it was. It was either Michael, Trevor, Jeremy or Frank. Many fans suspect that Jeremy was the soldier who died, but fans will have to wait until the fourth episode to find out for certain.
