So every single day I had to here "Oh my God she's so pretty she's so awesome. Oh my God we have such a fun time together. She's so blah, blah, blah. And so I was a good friend and I would just take it and lie to him and be like "I'm so happy for you." And I never told him I liked him but I did write a song with his name in it and considering this is the new single I'm guessing the secret's out. They're still together by the way isn't that awesome.

This is a song that I wrote about a guy as usual and I like this guy a whole lot but instead of telling him that I liked him like a normal human being I wrote down every single thing that I knew about him and I wrote a song called "I'd lie"
