Why do people want to ban the hunger games series from elementary schools?

I wasn't aware they were trying to do this. But the book is basically about 24 children forced to fight to the death, so maybe they think it's too graphic or not appropriate for school? Though, it's a good/ interesting read.

∙ 12y agoBecause if you actually read the books, it's not about fighting to the death, it's about fighting for your family, fighting for what you believe in, standing up to the evil people, never giving up. It's very good-moral led if you take the time to read it.

∙ 12y agoIn the last book The Hunger Games is banned because although it would serve the Capitol right. The districts dont want to be as horrible as the Capitol people were to them.
