Can Captain America beat iron man?

They are both normal guys with no super powers and a lot of toys. It would all depend on which one figured out how to break the other one's toys first.

To look at this fight you have to think of ability. Almost none of Batman's weapons could hurt Iron Man. Iron Man is to fast for Batman. Iron Man can fly higher then Batman, and he can blow up large areas at one time. For God's sake, Iron Man was the leader of one side of the Marvel Civil War.

Iron Man can also just finish Batman with his chest beam.

Iron Man's armor is resistant against explosions while batman's isn't. And You mean to tell me that a regular body builder with some fighting styles, and a belt with toys in it can beat a person with an invincible exterior,missiles ,lasers, extreme strength, and the ability to fly at the speed of sound ? Nonsence. And Batman needs time to prepare or needs to live so he can fight someone again to win. IRON MAN ALL THE WAY

I agree with the answer above. Batmans just a guy that knows how to fight and has a bunch of gadgets. Where as iron man can kill a man in one hit and instead of gadgets hes got missles and laser beams. Not to mention his armor is way way more durable. Plus Iron Man can fly. IRON MAN WINS! Lets face it these to are alot alike Tony just made somethin a little bit cooler than a baterang.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Batman might have a bulletproof chest plate, but Ironman has repulser technology, and is completely damage-proof (almost). Batman might throw a few 'batarangs', but Ironman can shoot him with poisoned darts by just saying three words. Batman can glide, but Ironman can fly into the stratosphere and higher! Ironman would beat Batman with both hands tied behind his back.

Ironman is instructable unlike batman and blows stuff up so yes hes better.

I would argue that since Iron-Man is considered a super-hero and loved by the public, he is the "better" one of the two. However, since Batman is not loved by the people, yet still attempts at protecting them, we can infer that he has a more complex personality and state of mind. This depth in character may serve as Batman's defining quality, and may also raise the question of whether or not Batman is completely sane. Thus, my vote is for Batman.

Yes. He's not as cocky or ignorant. He's always prepared and has the highest physical mental form of any human. Meaning he can tear you up if your not battle smart. Plus he has beaten iron man in the comics on numourus occasions sheild defects lazers no problem and he is just as fast and strong as the suit but the downside he can't fly. Depends on who is writing the story, Wonder Man from the 70's would make pretty quick work of Iron Man if they cam toe to toe. Wonder Man CRUSHED an Antimantium Ultron skull at one time, he could crush Iron Man inside is suit if he got a hold of him and Wonder Man is practically invulnerable.
