On average a song is between 3-4MB so the other numbers are a bit off. Below are the correct numbers. a 16GB can usually hold just under 4000 songs.
1 GB= 250 songs
2 GB= 500 songs
4 GB= 1000 songs
8 GB = 2000 songs
16 GB = 4000 songs
32 GB = 8000
64 GB= 16000
Depending on the quality of each song, it can be 6-7MB. Currently, I have 17.5GB of music which is only ~2700 songs.
My 2GB iPod Nano holds 280-300 songs of average length of 4 minutes.
A couple more than the 2GB blue ipod but about 20 songs less than the regular 2GB ipod.
A 2gb iPod can hold about 500 songs because I have a 80gb iPod and it holds 20,000 so, I did the math and it comes out to 500 songs.
1Gb is the same as 1024mb so 4Gb will be 4096mb. The number of songs that can be held really depends on how big (in megabytes) the song is. Some songs are only around 3mb while some larger songs are 6mb. I actually have songs that are 8mb but that's quite rare. So assuming the average song is around 6mb, a 4Gb mp3 or memory card can hold around 683 songs. But your songs are probably less than 6Gb so think of it as a minimum number of songs it can hold. Enjoy your songs. :)
It depends on how long the song is because if the songs are really long then it can hold a little bit but if there like 2 or 3 minutes then you can hold alot. 1gb is roughly equivalent to 18 hours of music or roughly 240 songs (on a formatted iPod Shuffle) or 500 songs (on a formatted ZEN Stone)
Obviously it depends on the length of each track and the format its saved in, as well as a few other factors. E.g. WMA tracks take up about half the space of MP3, but iPods don't accept WMA. This is also assuming a 4-minute track length.
So you can expect 1000-2500 tracks.
A 4gb Mp3 player can hold anywhere between 800 and 1400 songs. It depends on how long the songs are( 4 minutes or less if longer then you get less songs). You can hold 1000 photos. I'm not sure yet how many videos it can hold but I think 1 video takes up 2 or 3 songs. But if you put a video in it the music video will seem like a very small square in the middle of the screen.
About 500 songs
about 2,000
Up to 2000 songs...depending on the file sizes.
Can a 256 gb hold as much as 30k karaoke songs
It depends on the size of the songs. However, 4gb MP3 players can generally hold approximately 1000 songs.
4hrs
it canhol
doe the sylvania hold more songs
I THINK IT HOLDS AS MANY AS YOU CAN PUT ON THERE.
The 4 Gb version is said to hold up to 1000 songs, but that would depend on the size and storage density. The iPod shuffle comes in three different versions, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB. According to specs given by Apple, the 1GB can hold up to of 240 songs, and the 4GB can hold up to 1000 songs.
i have to say about 2000 songs and pics.
2GB- 500 songs 4GB-1000 songs 5GB-1500 songs 8GB-2000 songs
No, a 4gb mp3 player will not hold anywhere near a million songs. If you are lucky, you may be able to fit 1,000 songs onto such a device. This will depend on the size and quality of the songs.
How many songs your Zune can hold depends on how many kbs the file size is. Some people say it depends on the length of the song or that it can just hold up to 1,000. I have a 4GB Zune and most of my songs are around 5,000 - 6,000 kbs and I only have about 600 songs on it. I guess if you want more songs, you can try a program that reduces the size of the file. That might work.
1,000 songz
approximately 2k songs can store in 4GB memory card
