It all depends on the intended bitrate of the songs to be put on the CD, and the lengths of them.

But a CD will be full when one of 2 limits is reached:

# the 700mb is full # the disc is 70-80 minutes of audio.

But usually you only have to worry about 70-80 minute limitation. So only 70-80 minutes of songs can be put on a cd. So if the average song length is 4 minutes, about 15-20 songs.

How many songs can be downloaded onto an MP3 player?

It depends on the hard drive (or memory capacity) size of the MP3 player. Of course, songs of different lengths are different sizes, but the average song is about 30 MB. So if your MP3 player can store 1 GB (1000 MB), it can probably hold about 333 songs. This depends on the quality of your MP3 songs. Basically, the higher the quality of your songs, the bigger the files, and hence the less number of songs you can hold in your player. For 128M player, it can hold about 32 songs (128k bit rate). For 256M player, it can hold about 64 songs (128k bit rate). For 512M player, it can hold about 128 songs (128k bit rate). For 1G player, it can hold about 256 songs (128k bit rate).

How many songs can a Sony Ericsson MP3 Player hold?

If you don't specify a portable mp3 player then it's possible to make a media player that would literally play a million of mp3s.A device like the WD TV by Western Digital can attach to two usb external hard drives. You can currently buy these with 3 terabytes. It's hard to be exact, but a Terabyte would hold a quarter million MP3's at least.Six Terabytes would probably hold close to 2 million mp3's.
