No matter what age, children will always want and need adult interaction. That's how they learn. I sort of understand where your coming from. Are they just not interested in anything? My nephew had the same problem, once he grew out of the teletubby fase, he was enthralled in Thomas the Tank Engine. Everything Thomas. He still likes them till this day. Just be patient & they'll come around. You cannot, you will have to wait about two years.

Some kids actually enjoy when you read to them (yes, some 2 year olds like that), others get attached to the TV, but I think you should try buying some puppets. Those are REALLYYYY fun and I have never seen a kid NOT be entertained with a puppet (I don't mean ventriloquist puppets I mean the soft cuddly ones). Those are great fun, cause you can put on little shows and the puppets can sing and dance and kids love it.
