Hannah Montana is actually miley cryus.

She became Hannah monatna because she wanted to be a pop star but at the same time be a reagular girl going to school and living a normal life. She wanted to adviod paperatzzi and have have time to take a brake from the star life.

I personnally belive shes smart to do that.I meen hey, you don't see Brittany spears being a normal girl...living in privocy//

The only thing that bothers me is Hannah Montana is now promoting miley cryus so its like why? whats the point???? its just reacking the effect of ur secret!!

When she was 13 she actually auditioned for the role off lily truscott but she made it to Hannah Montana and then her director thought that it would be nice if she actually changed her name to Hannah Montana but she didnt want to so she just made her have 2 names!

Miley had to try-out for the part of Hannah Montanah. She was 12 when she did. at first Miley Stewart was Zoe Stewart. Blaah! I'm not sure if this is true but I heard that at first she tried out for the part of Lily Trescot.

She originally auditioned for the part of best friend, but the producers liked her tape so much that they asked her to instead audition for the lead character, Chloe Stewart/Hannah Montana. After flying to the Hollywood auditions, she was initially deemed too young for the part. However, her persistence and ability to sing as well as act eventually impressed the producers that they not only gave her the lead role, they changed the name of her character to Miley Stewart.
