family guy is a very funny show and has more understandable jokes on it. family guy is less offensive than simpsons. the simpsons on the other hand have funny jokes on it. you also get a feel for the family. each family have some same stuff. both have 1 dad 1 mom 1 daughter 1 son 1 baby and 1 dog.
