looks like she had a pouch of red dye that either someone else let it "bleed" by clicking the "go" button on an electronic remote located off-stage or she pulled something on her shirt to start it.
There was a pouch of fake blood in her outfit but it was remote controlled so someone made it turn on with a remote. They had to time it perfectly but they also had to be careful not to set it off too early!
