No. But please realize that Eddie and the Cruisers is NOT a real band. They were made up for the movie. Eddie was played by Michael Pare, and the music is performed by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. Eddie is nothing more than Michaels' face with Johns voice.

∙ 8y agoMichael Pare played Eddie of Eddie and the Cruisers, a movie that came out in 1983. Tom Berenger was also in the movie. A sequel came out in 1989. John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band played the music, releasing an album in 1994. The first movie did not do well in its time, but it is a cult (and my) favorite.
