Usually, yes. There are actually link cables that only work on Gameboy Advance SP, but you should be able to connect Gameboy to Gameboy...but you can't connect two different Gameboys that are not the same.

∙ 10y agoYes it does. With Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness you can link up with your GBA pokemon games and you can trade or even battle each others pokemon.
