Any kind of white glue or yellow glue
anykind i guess, maybe extra strong or carpenders, but DO NOT use gorilla glue that stuff explodes and ruins projects
it is cool glue that you can stick stuff to!
Epoxy glues would be best.
# buy the supplies (Popsicle sticks and glue) # sort the Popsicle sticks from bad ones to good ones. # pick a design (Arch. suspension and box girder) # Build street and support design # wait a day # connect the two # wait a day # build extras # wait 3 days # test bridge
You can get a candy wrapper then glue (Iwould use a hot glue gun) the sticks to the wrapper and test it out:)
To create a popsicle stick boat easily, you can follow these simple steps: Gather materials: popsicle sticks, glue, scissors, and paper. Build the base: glue popsicle sticks together to form a flat base. Construct the hull: glue more popsicle sticks vertically along the edges of the base to create the boat's hull. Add details: cut paper sails and glue them onto toothpicks to create sails for your boat. Let it dry: allow the glue to dry completely before playing with your popsicle stick boat.
White glue or carpenters glue works best on popsicle sticks.
The best way to glue popsicle sticks is to use a good PVA glue. TiteBond 2 or 3 if you have it is best. Elmer's white glue is reasonable and cheaper but also makes a similar joint for craft purposes.
What'll you need: 4 bamboo skewersDuct tapePopsicle sticksOptional-paintWhat to do:Take the 2 of the bamboo skewers and if you want to paint them paint them now. After they are dry glue them to about half of a Popsicle stick (this is where your dolls armpit goes) After the glue is dry (i recommend hot glue) bring the bottom of the sticks together and duct tape them there. Then measure from your dolls hand to the top of their arm and use that number (let's say 5in. then you measure 5in. from the 1st Popsicle stick and glue the 2nd stick) to put the other half of the Popsicle stick. And repeat on the other skewers!
Use a lot of sticks.
As an individual stick, not very. Popsicle sticks are made of Yellow Poplar, a soft, not terribly strong wood. But with laminating by using glue, and basic structural principles, very strong objects can be built of popsicle sticks.
if you have some Popsicle sticks you could glue them together and then add some ribbons and then cover the sticks with some glitter and cut a paper star and glue it to the stick!! or you could get a stick from a tree and add ribbons and cut a star from a yellow piece of paper and put sparkles on it and glue it on the stick
With white glue or a glue stick.
A welded joint is like metal being melted so it gets sticky, and then stuck on to something else that's been melted, letting it cool, than harden. A joint held together by adhesives is by putting glue, lets say on the end of a popsicle stick and putting it on to another popsicle stick. Glue is an adhesive, which is a liquid sort of material.
I already have a hot glue gun (high temp) w/ glue sticks, so that would be ideal for me ... It's by far the best wood glue I've ever used.
Some creative popsicle stick crafts that can be made without using any glue include building a small house or birdhouse, creating a picture frame, making a coaster or trivet, constructing a mini easel for displaying art, or assembling a simple puzzle or game.
There are a lot of things you can do with popsicle sticks. One of my favorites is a popsicle stick box. Here is how to make it. You need white glue and popsicle sticks. So you have probably heard of Lincoln Logs. If you haven't, Google it. Look at how the pieces are stacked on top of each other. Do this with your popsicle sticks, but of course your popsicle sticks won't have indents in them, so you have to glue them together instead. There should be small spaces between each popsicle stick after you glue them. It is okay if they aren't perfectly straight up and down. Okay now you fit some popsicle sticks into the empty spots. First put a line of glue down the lower sides, and glue them on. When it is dry you can flip it over and make the top. Do the same thing as you did on the bottom, but only put the glue on one side. While that part is drying you might want to add some glue to the very edge to act as hinges. Also why it is drying you may need to rub some glue on top to get the lid to stay together. Open the box once in a while, even if you need to force it. If you do that, the lid should work right when it is ready. If you want to you can paint it or decorate it in any way you want. It looks really cool if you look through the sides of it!
