You didn't mention what vehicle you have but in most vehicles the heater core is located under the dash on the passenger side. The heater core is known to spring a leak and show up on the passengers floor. Turn on the defroster and see if your nose senses the sweet smell of radiator coolant. The inside of the windshield my fog up when the defroster is turned on, this would also indicate a leaky heater core.
Your heater core is leaking. This is the part of your car that creates heat for the passenger compartment of your car. There is no fix for a leaking heater core except to replace it.
I found the wetness at the rear left passenger floor board, First thought maybe it is dripping from the B pillar or the center column where the rear door hinges are connected......it turn out that the floor board has hair line cracks in them, caused by bad welding and improper sealing in the factory (No rust in my car). Dealears wont pay for it. so, I sealed it by spraying can of sealant underneath. This condition only happened when I drove in the rain for a while. Hope it helped your concern.
If the heater has a sweet smell it could be that the heater core is leaking engine coolant. When the leak gets worse you will have a wet floor on the passenger side and the windshield will fog up when you turn on the defroster.
Left and right is when you are sitting in the car. Drivers is left, passengers is right.
AnswerSimple, you have a leak. Suspect that it is leaking from the cowl. Check the drain for the condenser and see if it is plugged. Check for debris below the window in the channel.if you have a sunroof, sometimes the drain hose gets clogged and water will back up into the car. It can run down the inside of your A pillar and end up in the floor board. Similarly, if it happens when you run the A/C, the condensation drain hose could be clogged and backing up into the floor.
I had the same problem in my echo and I am guessing that it actually isn't a rain leak. If it is what I think it is you probably had a passenger kick off a hose that is connected to your condenser and the water is coming from your air conditioning. The hose is supposed to lead the water through the floor pan and out the bottom of the car, hense why you get a puddle under the car when you use your A/C. So look as far forward as you can on the passenger side floor and see if that is your problem. If it is actually a rain leak sorry for the big waste of time.
it is on the right side of the trans. between the trans. and the passenger floor underneath the car
The Fuse box is toward the floor on the passenger side front of the car to the right...
passenger side ,lay on floor behind right front tire, slide under car and look up to right you will see it.
No, the right side of the car is the passenger's side.
the passenger side
The fuel filter is located under the car, right under the passenger door (floor board). That would be the drivers side of car.
You probibly have a bad heater core.
right side is usually always passenger side
The passenger side is always the right side.
