It is on the exhaust pipe close to the manifold. Simply unplug and unscrew it.
The upstream O2 sensor is located in the exaust manifold which is bolted to the front of the engine.
The are two oxygen sensors. One before and one after the catalytic converter.
Just one.
It is in front of the catalytic converter.
pass side radiator not all the way down on the side. i think you can get at it if you take the light bezel off the right headlight. 4 scews has the turnsignal light in it. ...actually, remove the grill, not the light bezel.
No, it will not. When Chrysler built the 1999-2004 WJ Grand Cherokee it had a different bolt pattern than the 1993-1998 ZJ Grand Cherokee. The Jeeps that can interchange wheels with one another are the Cherokee (84-01), the Commanche, Wrangler (87-06), Liberty (02-07), and the Grand Cherokee (93-98). The two redesign Grand Cherokees since 99 have the same bolt pattern so a 99-04 Grand Cherokee can swap wheels with a 05+, as well as a 06+ Commander. I think the new Wrangler (07+) can too.
I had this problem with my 1998 Jeep Cherokee, manual transmission. After starting cold, I would drive about 100 or 300 feet, and it would chug like it was going to quit. Didn't know it was the 02 sensor at first. My mechanic had told me just to flick the key off and back on (doesn't kill the engine if you do it really fast) and the chugging stopped - it drove fine then, and did not die. Finally replaced the O2 sensor (they cost about $40 or $50 I think) which solved the chugging problem entirely. Hope this helps you.
Just one.
Use a 02 socket. The 2 sensor are located in front and behind the cat.
It is in front of the catalytic converter.

I found a remote for my 1997 Grand Cherokee on Ebay. type in the number "05014736". The remote if for the newer generation Grand Cherokee, but I took it to the dealer, and they programmed it for free.
The throttle position sensor is mounted to the throttle body. It is located opposite of where the throttle cable goes onto the throttle body.
02 sensor
This code refers to the front oxygen sensor
They are in front and in back of the catalytic converter on the exhaust pipe.
P0157 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
Check the fuel injectors with a ohm meter to see if they all are firing correctly. Also, check the spark plug, wires, and distrubuter and rotor. If all of these are ok check the 02 sensor.
WHERE IS IT LEAKING? IS IT THE PUMP ITSELF OR THE HOSES OR THE RES?
