Your question is confusing. If the engine cranks it is turning over.
It cranks the engine over in order for it to start running.
Bad or discharged battery, bad ground, dirty connections at the battery, or a bad starter.
Does the battery have enough cold cranking amps? like 800
Seized engine? Dead or weak battery? Loose or corroded battery cables? Defective starter or starter solenoid? Bad neutral or clutch safety switch?
Check the battery. Sometimes the battery has a partial charge but does not have enough electricity to make the engine turn over. See if all the cells have water. Then use jumper cables.
If the battery turns the engine over as it should then the battery is good.
check battery
Starter won't crank over engine? Battery or battery connection issues. Starter cranks over engine but engine won't start? Being a GM product I would suspect fuel delivery problems (bad fuel pump).
if it wont crank the the starter is probally out but if it cranks and the motor doesnt turn either the belt is to loose or the engine is locked up
if the engine cranks.... then it is not the battery or alternator.... look at the primary electrical system and fuel injection
Sounds like you have a dead battery.
Well it could be many problems.Does the engine crank, but not turn over?If the engine does not crank at all, or cranks slowly, it could be a problem with your battery. Check the battery terminals and wires. If it does not crank, and you believe your battery is ok, check your fuses. If the engine cranks, but won't turn over, it could possibly be your spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor or fuel pump. The best thing to do is to get someone with moderate vehicle knowledge to do some basic diagnostics.
It cranks the engine over in order for it to start running.
Try a new battery, or get a jump start. Sometimes there is not enough power in the battery to start the engine.
engine cranks over but will not start.
fuel filter... or throttle body
An engine which cranks but will not start is not receiving enough fuel or has no spark. A clogged fuel filter or bad spark plugs often cause this problem.
