It should be gapped at a .035 that's the standard that 2005 neons have unless you purchase a pregapped spark plug manufactured for this car.

On all plugs except a hot ngk plug, it's .35. Good luck!

on a 4.7 engine, i believe it is .040 or refer to your underhood factory decal, it should tell you also, if no decal, get in touch with a auto part store.

Listed in the owners manual and on a placard under the hood. The 4 cylinder is .044 and the V6 is .040. Some plugs are not adjustable.
