Call around to shops in your area and see if they will. Most shops are willing to tattoo a 17 year old with parental permission, but BOTH of your parents will have to come to the shop with you, fill out paperwork, be present for aftercare instructions, they will be required to be present throughout the entirety of the tattoo, and they will need to bring both of their ID's. This may not be something that the shop that you will call will answer over the phone, so you may have to physically go to the shop with your parents so they can be certain that you are legit.

∙ 13y agoIn most states, if you are 18 you can get it without a guardians permission. If your parent or guardian permits it then you can get it as a minor.
