Can headaches along with slight cramping and hot flashes and more than usual discharge and heartburn be signs of pregnancy?

Heartburn is not a symptom of early pregnancy.

Our bodies change every 7 years so you could have eaten something such as peppers, cucumbers, onions or even garlic that may have caused heartburn. If you are a nervous type of person you could be suffering from acid reflux. If you 40 plus and your heartburn is continual it is best to have a good physical by your doctor to be sure you don't have heart problems. Indigestion/heartburn is common during pregnancy but is not a 'sign' of pregnancy and does not usually occur until the end of the second trimester (28 weeks or so).

if you are having your period on time and it lasts the normal amount of time then you are probably not pregnant Heartburn/indigestion occurs generally in the first trimester and the last trimester. Many women get it late in pregnancy as the uterus pushes the stomach from underneath and the hormones relax the smooth muscle. While many doctors recommend Tums because of the calcium, the extra calcium can actually cause Acid Reflux. So try to stay away from that as a solution. Try something all natural, like Brioschi or Gingera. Gingera is greatest because it's got ginger in it...which is known to help relieve the nausea and indigestion from morning sickness/indigestion.

Yes, those were the same symptoms that I have had for my last two pregnancies. It started a couple days after conception, I got a cold like feeling in my face, deep face congestion, a hot face and neck, and a slight increase in temp. Usually I am about 36.5. but I went up to about 37.2. The heart burn kicked in a few days later along with the increase in discharge. I used the ClearBlue pregnancy test only after 10 days post conception it showed a faint positive, a couple days later I did it againit was a more obvious positive result. Just for your added info, I used ot get very bad breast pain with my pregnancies, since I cut out dairy, i have no breast pain, and I am expecting again now. I have been reading up on dairy and it is not as good for you as we are told, I guess it causes lots of horomone confusion, which leads to serious breast pain in woman with changing horomones, like pregnancy, breast feeding and so on. I am still getting the slight cramping, some times it is more thna others, when I am driving or walking it can hurt a lot. i still get the heartburn as well, I am only 5 weeks alo, but because the pregnancy test showed a positive so early I have known for a while. Yes most definitely! Of all the times I was pregnant (3) I had heartburn every-time throughout the whole pregnancy just with each pregnancy it seemed like it got worse to where I couldn't go anywhere without a bottle of tums and prilosec! On the other hand heartburn is also caused by greasy, spicy foods, smoking, acid reflux, stomach ulcers and various other things! They also say if u get heartburn in your pregnancy it means the baby is going to have a lot of hair!
Heartburn is a very common symptom during pregnany.

Take tums they do the job and are good for a calcium boost.

my obgyn told me regardless of what the package says that to take as many as needed.

They can be, but it is more likely that the discharge is because you are ovulating (releasing an egg from the ovaries) and that the heartburn is unrelated, because heartburn is more common nearer the end of pregnancy rather than the beginning. If you miss your period you should take a pregnancy test
