When you need to replace the battery in your Viper remote starter, you a screwdriver and new battery. Open the fob using the screwdriver by inserting it in the grove to pry the two parts open. Locate the battery and remove it, then replace it with the new one. Put the two parts of the fob back together.

∙ 14y agoThe remote is a two-part case that snaps together. There is a small slot that you can use a coin to pry it apart. Inside are the batteries that can be purchased at most drugstores.
