Cro-Magnon is an informal word once used to refer to people who lived alongside Neanderthals toward the end of the last ice age (around 35,000-10,000 years ago). The name came about because in 1868 parts of five skeletons were found in a cave by that name located in the Dordogne Valley of France.
Recently it has been considered that the physical dimensions of 'Cro-Magnon' are not sufficiently different enough from modern humans to warrant a separate designation. Essentially, we're a bunch of Cro-Magnons.
The differences between these early modern humans and us are slight and may be attributed to a different life style (hunting and gathering verses TV watching and video game playing). Some, though, insist there is a physical difference that indicates the Cro-Magnons are a really different people from us.
There is not enough bones to look at. There is not, at present (and maybe never) enough of a sample size to settle the argument.
Homo habilis was an ancient form of pre-man which went extinct 1.4 million years ago. Homo Sapien and Cro-Magnon are the same thing. Cro-Magnon was an early form of modern human. Homo sapien refers to modern humans.
hominids could not stand straight and their fingers were not flexible whereas the homosapiens could stand straight their fingers were also flexible the difference was seen when they were in the homoerectus s big diference was observed that as they started standing straight the jaw case became smaller and their brain case became larger.

Cro-Magnon was the name of a cave in the Dordogne region of France where the first remains of the early humans were found. Other remains far and wide that correspond to the same types of people are also called Cro-Magnon. They were ancestors of modern humans, living around 30,000 years ago.
