Psychology is the scientific study of mental processes. Mental processes is defined as perception (how we view things) cogniniton (mentally understanding or thinking and interpreting information, objects or things), emotion , personality, behaviour and interpersonal relationships including a human being relationship or lack of relationship to God and how these mental processes positive or negative affect human behaviour

Anthropology is a much larger umbrella. It is the scientific study of the origins, and the physical and cultural development of human kind.

Psychology can also include the study of mankind or animals. Anthropology studies human beings alone, although how humans being relate to animals, plants and structures will also fall under the study of anthropology.

Psychology tends to be more about the individual and the individual's personal society while Anthropology tends to be much more broad and include, familial, societal and global study including language, culture, social organization and Archaeology.

I hope that this answer will be helpful to many others. This is only meant to show major differences. More research will reveal more intricate answers

In general terms:

Psychology: The study of the human mind and behavior, focusing on individuals.

Sociology: The study of the minds and behaviors of modern humans interacting in groups.

Anthropology: A blanket term for the study of aspects of human culture, past and present, through specialized fields such as Biology, chemistry, or linguistics. One field is Social Anthropology, which is very similar to Sociology. In the past it was characterized by studying foreign and/or historic groups, while sociology deals with the current western world. Today, however, there is very little difference between the two. What remains is that Anthropology tends to take a 3rd-party approach, studying modern life as they would ancient, and Sociology studies 'us".

Psychology and Sociology have often been criticized for being biased towards the affluent portions of western culture. All three fields, if studied in depth split, one group focusing on 'hard' sciences, and the other taking a more theoretical approach, marking the field as a 'soft' science.

Both anthropology and psychology are apart of the social sciences. Psychology focuses on the brain and human behavior. This social science can be closely related to biology. Anthropology studies cultures over time, looking at how they change. This social science can be closely related to history.

Anthropology and sociology are closely connected. However, there is a huge distinction between the two.

Anthropology is the study of human beings. Anthropologists will study humans biologically, culturally, physically, socially, psychologically. Anthropology also uses anthropometry which is the study of human measurement or measurement of the human individual. So pretty much, the study of humans in general as living organisms and as social beings in cultural contexts. They study what defines human beings as 'human'.

Sociology is the study of human interaction and their social world. Now this is not studying human beings specifically anymore, but studying the way people come together and socialize, and how they build their social world and reality, + how they interact with that social world. Sociology studies how organizations, ideas, cultures are built when people interact and communicate. In short, everything that exists in our world in sociology is a result of us socializing, not just through language, but through objects, actions, institutions, etc.

So anthropology = studying humans through and through as homo sapiens, studying human trait, and our ancestors as well.

Sociology = studying humans beings socially

Both subjects influence one another and use one another as a means to explain/enhance certain theories and ideas.
