If you want a tan, there are many ways of going about it. Some of them, though, hold health warnings associated with skin cancer and skin damage. Tanning beds use UVA light to increase the melatonin in the skin, to make it appear darker, but at a much higher level than your skin is used to. So how do you know how to get a tan – without the damage? Following some simple rules and steps, you can have a tan, and keep your health.

-Step 1: Visiting a tanning salon

A tanning salon should not be a regular visit. If you want a tan before a special occasion, then it’s ok to use it once in a while, but not more than a few times a year. Clean the bed before use, and use goggles to protect your eyes. Don’t exceed the maximum time, as you could burn and speed up aging!

-Step2: The sun

There is nothing wrong with spending some time in the sun, just not during the heat of the day between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and only tan for an hour or less. Also, always wear sun screen, even if you want a tan, because it protects your skin from unnecessary damage.

-Step 3: Rub on tans

You can buy tan in a bottle! Most shops will sell a great variety of fake tans. Of course, there is always the risk of getting a really dark tan or going orange and blotchy. To avoid blotchy skin, always exfoliate and moisturize the skin before putting on the fake tan.

-Step 4: Spray tan

Spray-on tan is the new big thing. It doesn’t streak or go blotchy like fake-tan cream. Spray-on tan is completely safe (as long as you check it doesn’t react with your skin first). You stand in a booth and the tan is sprayed – either by a person, or automatically. Then you simply wait until it develops.

Getting a tan doesn’t have to mean skin cancer and premature aging. You can be careful and follow some precautions and stay away from long days in direct sunlight and you will be tanned, healthy and looking wonderful all year round.

How can I get a sunless tan safely?

Tanning booths can offer a suntan without exposure to the sun, however it has been shown that these cause skin cancer too and should be used with caution. Another safer option is to choose a spray tan or a moisturizer with self tan incorporated.

What is tan20tan32 plus tan32tan38 plus tan38tan20?

This may not be the most efficient method but ... Let the three angle be A, B and C. Then note that A + B + C = 20+32+38 = 90 so that C = 90-A+B. Therefore, sin(C) = sin[(90-(A+B) = cos(A+B) and cos(C) = cos[(90-(A+B) = sin(A+B). So that tan(C) = sin(C)/cos(C) = cos(A+B) / sin(A+B) = cot(A+B) Now, tan(A+B) = [tan(A)+tan(B)] / [1- tan(A)*tan(B)] so cot(A+B) = [1- tan(A)*tan(B)] / [tan(A)+tan(B)] The given expressin is tan(A)*tan(B) + tan(B)*tan(C) + tan(C)*tan(A) = tan(A)*tan(B) + [tan(B) + tan(A)]*cot(A+B) substituting for cot(A+B) gives = tan(A)*tan(B) + [tan(B) + tan(A)]*[1- tan(A)*tan(B)]/[tan(A)+tan(B)] cancelling [tan(B) + tan(A)] and [tan(A) + tan(B)], which are equal, in the second expression. = tan(A)*tan(B) + [1- tan(A)*tan(B)] = 1

Is there a good way for a guy to tan safely?

Btw by this I mean without risking skin damage and stuff, 'cause I'm annoyingly pale and don't tan much normally :/ Also I already know that tanning is triggered by skin damage, but I wanna know if there's another way to get not disgusting looking skin :D

If for a triangle abc tan a-b plus tan b-c plus tan c-a equals 0 then what can you say about the triangle?

tan (A-B) + tan (B-C) + tan (C-A)=0 tan (A-B) + tan (B-C) - tan (A-C)=0 tan (A-B) + tan (B-C) = tan (A-C) (A-B) + (B-C) = A-C So we can solve tan (A-B) + tan (B-C) = tan (A-C) by first solving tan x + tan y = tan (x+y) and then substituting x = A-B and y = B-C. tan (x+y) = (tan x + tan y)/(1 - tan x tan y) So tan x + tan y = (tan x + tan y)/(1 - tan x tan y) (tan x + tan y)tan x tan y = 0 So, tan x = 0 or tan y = 0 or tan x = - tan y tan(A-B) = 0 or tan(B-C) = 0 or tan(A-B) = - tan(B-C) tan(A-B) = 0 or tan(B-C) = 0 or tan(A-B) = tan(C-B) A, B and C are all angles of a triangle, so are all in the range (0, pi). So A-B and B-C are in the range (- pi, pi). At this point I sketched a graph of y = tan x (- pi < x < pi) By inspection I can see that: A-B = 0 or B-C = 0 or A-B = C-B or A-B = C-B +/- pi A = B or B = C or A = C or A = C +/- pi But A and C are both in the range (0, pi) so A = C +/- pi has no solution So A = B or B = C or A = C A triangle ABC has the property that tan (A-B) + tan (B-C) + tan (C-A)=0 if and only if it is isosceles (or equilateral).

What is the exact trigonometric function value of cot 15 degrees?

cot(15)=1/tan(15) Let us find tan(15) tan(15)=tan(45-30) tan(a-b) = (tan(a)-tan(b))/(1+tan(a)tan(b)) tan(45-30)= (tan(45)-tan(30))/(1+tan(45)tan(30)) substitute tan(45)=1 and tan(30)=1/√3 into the equation. tan(45-30) = (1- 1/√3) / (1+1/√3) =(√3-1)/(√3+1) The exact value of cot(15) is the reciprocal of the above which is: (√3+1) /(√3-1)
