Power = Work done (Energy) / time

Power x time = Energy.

Electrical power = VI ( I = Q/t)

E.power x time = Voltage x Charge

basicly what this writer is saying is that when you multiply power by time, you get energy which is correct. this makes sense since power is the time derivitive of energy

A power plant burns coal and generates an average of 610.0 MW of electrical power while discharging 963.80 MW as waste heat Find the total electrical energy generated by the plant in a 30-day period.?

The power generated would just be 610.0 MW; it looks like the the amount of waste heat is irrelevant for the problem.Since power is defined as energy / time, you can calculate energy simply by multiplying power x time. To user compatible units:Convert MW to kWConvert days to hoursAfter multiplying, the result will be in kWh (which is an energy unit, and simply means kW times hours).

Do power plants provide cheap power?

Cheap is an emotional word, it means different things to different people. I find electricity expensive now, but then I remember when it was much cheaper.

Why the unit of power for bulb is watt?

The rating of any electrical appliance or piece of electrical equipment is calculated in watts because the watt is the international unit for power. The electrical power of a purely resistive load is calculated using the Power Equation: Power (watts) = Voltage (volts) x Current (amps) For a reactive load - such as an ac electric motor - the Power Equation has to be modified to allow for its Power Factor: Power (watts) = Voltage (volts) x Current (amps) x Power Factor

What is nine to the power of 3?

Multiply 9 by itself three times (9 x 9 x 9) to find out. That's what the third power means. For the fourth power, you'd multiply again.

What is 2 by the power of 5?

The number 2 to the 5th power is 32. To find the answer to a number to a power, you need to multiply that number by itself the number of times of the number in the power. For 2 to the 5th power you would multiply 2x2x2x2x2 (2x2=4x2=8x2=16x2=32).

What is 2 to the 21 power?

221 is equal to 2,097,162. To find this, you would need to multiply 2 by 2, 21 times.

How do you figger out to the power of 4?

If you mean something like this: 54 then you multiply 5*5*5*5. The answer in this case would be 625. In any case with a number to a power, you multiply the number by itself however many times you have in the power. If it is just to the power of 2, you multiply it by itself twice. If it is to the power of 10, you multiply the number by itself 10 times. Most calculators (besides simple four-function calculators) have a button that allows you to input a number to a power and find the answer, which is much faster.

What is the same between area and volume?
