Because the gravity on the moon is only about 1/6th of that on earth. Combine that with a bulky space-suit and that's why it's harder to walk on the moon !

Does the moon have a stronger gravity then the earth?

As gravity is related to mass, the object with more mass has more gravity. Thus as the Earth is more massive than the moon, it will have more gravity. This is why the moon orbits the Earth, and why the Earth orbits the Sun.

When your on the moon is your weight more or less than on Earth?

On the Moon, you would feel like you weighed only one-sixth as much as you would on Earth. Which is probably just as well. When you add in the space suit, oxygen tanks, thick boots and gloves, it would be very difficult to walk in Earth-normal gravity.

How would you manage the lack of the gravity on the moon?

The moon does have gravity, it is just a fraction of what it is on Earth. Astronauts on the moon have found that the low gravity makes it difficult to walk. It is easier to move by jumping.

Can you walk around on the moon like you can on earth?

No we cant walk on the moon like we can on Earth because of the Gravity. The gravity of the moon is weaker as compared to Earth's gravity. I think that the moon's gravity is x10 times weaker than of Earths'. Let me make tis point sure and tell you.wow1st the moons gravity is roughly 1/6 that of Earth's ( 16.66 % ) and it will change how you walk and move. 2nd Since there is no air on the moon you have to wear a space suitSo no you can't walk around like on earth

What is the gravity of the moon with respect to that of the earth?
