kia sporatges are very reliable,new ones with 100,000 mile warranty ,1995 thru 2001 has the older body style,great care too, 1995 to 2001 get aropund 21 to 22 mph on hwy,18 around town.Older ones had some issuse but those have mostly gone away with 2 recalls and consumer understanding Kia auto 's better. I have 2000 Kia sportage and a 1995 4 wheel drive sporatge ,163,000 on one and 90,000 on the other. 2009 cars are great ! driven several, great gas mileage and more reliable than ever. That is not to say they hickup every once in a while,but all cars do that.Hope this helps,if you have a certain question about sportages just ask me.
