There was no exactly any win or lose. However, what happened was Japan launched a sneak attack on Pearl Harbour, and the Americans suffered great losses. The motive of the attack, if I am not wrong, was to scare Amercians, who were then controlling Philippines, to retreat away. It is so that the Japanese can fufill her dream of conquering Philippines. However, the attack on Pearl Harbour did make the Americans launched their attack on Japan, which in the end they won. America used 2 nuclear bombs, named "Little Boy" and 'Fat Man" to bomb Japan, forcing the Japanese to end the 2nd World War in Asia.
