The Red Sticks attacked Fort Mims in Alabama killing over 100 whites including women and children. This outraged the Untied States. The Untied States retaliated by chanting "Remember Fort Mims" and attacked the Red Sticks at Horseshoe Bend in Alabama killing over 1,000 Red Sticks. This was the last of the Creeks in Georgia.
