The human body parts, has been named by scientists along the time. The beginning of such nomination is uncertain. It took a long time to reach the today's knowledge about the complete human anatomy. The medical apparatus invented since the XIX century helped scientists to view in details the human organs and systems and so to name them completely.
Note added in time: I made a mistake when I declared that the brain is the organ not yet entirely known. What I meant is referred to the functioning of its neurological system, tha isn't completely understood, and only 1% has been turned clear. Anatomically , the sub-organs, glands, circulatory system of the brain was named and its several functions and connections to the body organs was already compiled, named and understood a long time ago.
My opinion on the discussion page:
The human body parts has been named along the time. The completion of such work is still uncertain, because there is much to know about our brain, so the naming is still running.About the other organs and systems, I believe that all has been led to completion. The inquisitor wanted to know WHO has given the names to our organs, parts. Obviously, a scientist alone hasn't done the work. It took hundreds of years to get knowing and to name the different parts of the human body. About the origin of the names, mostly they came from greek, latin.

It would take a textbook or more to name them all.
depends on what body part you want to know about.
Ralph Winge, D.D.S., elucidated and named Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus), an upper lip midline feature. It will eventually be included in future textbooks.
