Age is not really a basic requirement for an astronaut. But considering all the things that
NASA looks for in a candidate, it's pretty certain that nobody much under 30 or over 45
would be accepted for astronaut training.
As of June 2014, no children can yet go to space. People that go to space must endure weeks of intense training not suitable for young children.
