James Bond. It's older, and because of that older people know about it too. One Direction is new and older people have no idea what it is anyway. So James Bond it is. Everyone knows who he is, the old and the young. :)

Oh, and I'm not a fan of James Bond (I haven't finished watching not even one of his movies so far) nor One Direction (well, I just don't listen to that kind of music), so you could say that this answer is coming from the objective point of view. I'm sorry if I'm insulting any of the fans, that wasn't my intention.
