The love/hate relationship as they progress more into season 1, turns into love more than hate. Yes they are in love - you can obviosly tell they are. In season 3 of Sonny With a Chance I think that Chad sings a song to Sonny to say he is sorry for what he did and she forgives him and they get back together after their breakup :-) GO CHANNY! x

Yes there will be a 3rd season of sonny with a chance (that's what my dad who works for Disney Channel told me) but Demi Lovato (who plays Sonny Munroe) will not be the main character anymore!
