the speedometer on my 97 toyota camary stopped working and the check engine light came on why
No. Speed sensors tell the speedometer how fast you are travelling, O2 sensors provide information to the ECU to enable it to provide the correct fuel/air mix to the engine.
A Toyota 5vz-fe engine has two oxygen sensors. There is a higher and lower sensor which send air and fuel readings to the ECU so the engine can run properly.
It depends on number of cylinders the engine has. 4 cylinder engine has 2 oxygen sensors. V6 has at least 3.
engine coolant temp. sensor
Oxygen sensors on a 1989 Toyota SR5 and located near the catalytic converter. The sensors read the emissions from the vehicle so the ECU knows ho much fuel to run in the engine.
the vehicle speed sensor is on the tranny it hooks onto your speedometer. the engine speed sensor is on the front of the engine, two different sensors guys.
I say "Yes u can". Becos a friend swapped a Mercedes M103 engine with a Toyota Chaser 1G engine. The German star is cruising cool n sweet...save for the lying speedometer. (gearbox swapped for a Toyota one) . It all depends on the capabilities of ur mechanic.
yes
The oxygen sensors on a 2004 Toyota Corolla are located within the exhaust manifold. They constantly monitor oxygen levels in the exhaust and allow the engine to make adjustments accordingly.
They are located down in the engine block valley. Accessing the knock sensors requires cylinder head removal..........sorry.
between the exhaust manifold and catalitic converter
