Then after you do that you report back to Merle Ambrose and he'll give you a quest to defeat "Foulgaze" in Olde Town and defeat "Lord Nightshade" in Haunted cave. After you do that you have to go under the waterfall in The Commons and finally you get the quest to explore the Oasis in Krokotopia.

Once you have completed all the missions, you should have one to talk to Headmaster Ambrose, I believe it is the final missions given from the Life Wizard Ceren Nightchant, or whatever his name is.
