where do you put the oil at for a john deere 317 riding lawn mower and what brand of oil
in the deer
There's nothing special about John Deere oil. It's made at the same plant that makes every other brand of oil and puts it in different containers with different names on it. actually there is a difference and you should put john deere oil in your tractors we do that on our farm and the motor run a hole lot better. well i think you should puit any oil in it because oil is oil ding donggg... andddd who cares if its different its your fault if you mess up your tractor..... JOHN DEERE IS MY HERO! The best oil for any brand of vehicle or equipment is the brand that matches. Deere oil for Deere, GM oil for GM etc. The base oil may be the same but the additives are unique to each brand and specified by the product engineers. Anyone that tells you anything else is not informed of the facts.
An L110 with a Kohler 17.5 H.P. takes 2 quarts of oil with a oil filter change.
According to the owners manual: with filter change 1.4L (1.5qt).
I 'm changing the oil /filter on my John Deer (Riding Mower LA125). How much motor (10w-30) do I put in.
80/90 How do you put the oil in a transaxle on a John Deere LA130? Where does it go? We are having a problem ...very slow on hills...no power. Machine has 420 hrs
"I will never put my name on a product that does not have in it the best that is in me," quote from John Deere
The John Deere Company slogan, " I will never put my name on a product that does not have in it the best which is in me," was written and coined by John Deere, the man himself.
John Deere once said, "I shall not put my name on a good that does not have in it the best which is in me." Other more current sayings include: Nothing runs like a Deere. If its not a Deere, its not American(infamous).
