There were 4 different BB rifle variations, but only 3 different models. 99 Target Special 1959 gravity fed BB 99 Target Special 1960-79 Spring fed BB 99 Champion 1967 99 Lucky McDaniels Instinct Shooter 1960
I believe it's the same as the new Daisy Avanti Champion model 499. It's loaded by unscrewing the tip of the barrel and sliding out the shot tube. It's gravity fed after that. Go to the Daisy homepage and contact daisy Customer service and ask for an owners manual.
